Details

Crewe Alexandra pre war programmes are some of the rarest known to exist (actually very few seem to exist) and this is a rare bound volume containing all 30 programmes issued for the 1909-1910 season. The programmes are immaculate one or two have neat team changes which does not affect the value; bound volumes were produced at the end of each season for the club directors. There are lots of portrait photographs of players and this rare bound volume will have huge appeal to any collectors of the away teams in the volume, Crewe fans and collectors of rare historical football memorabilia. The programmes are called the Alexandra News and Official Programme and it says that this volume is volume 2 so does that mean that this was only the second season that the club produced programmes (the club was founded in 1877)? Clubs that Crewe play against this season and the programmes are in this bound volume include: Chester, Wolverhampton, Lincoln, Worcester, Stoke, Tranmere Rovers, Kidderminster, Wrexham, West Bromwich, burton and Aston Villa. Some example pages are shown in the other pictures. If you wish to purchase this item you will need to contact us and pay by Bank Transfer or cheque.
