Very rare goalkeeping pitch pass from the 1990 World Cup finals, this was owned by Mike Kelly, England's goalkeeping coach at the time.  As a player Mike Kelly started at Chelsea, moved to Wimbledon, then QPR, Birmingham and Minnesota Kicks.  Few pitch passes ever surface, especially older ones, as fewer were issued in those days and very few people are entitled to them, even today.  This pass was for the game played on the 7th July 1990 when the host national Italy defeated England 2-1 1990, in the third-place play-off match of the 1990 FIFA World Cup at the Stadio San Nicola in Bari. Roberto Baggio opened the scoring for Italy, David Platt equalized for England, and Salvatore "Toto" Schillaci scored the game-winning penalty.  The original lanyard is fully attached.
