2024 - Panathinaikos v Chelsea 60 Page VIP Issue given out at the game 24/10/2024

Chelsea won 4-1 in Athens there was no official programme produced although there was an issue that could be downloaded at home. Only a tiny number of VIP’s were at this game and only 21 members of the press, the press did not get anything. The VIP’s were given this amazing Collectors edition issue which given that all tickets were printed out by chelsea on A4 paper, and given that there were no teamsheets prodcued remains the only item from the game that can be deemed from the match.

I have to state that this is not a traditional programme - there are no line ups or pictures of chelsea players or any mention of chelsea, however it is a wonderful publication of 60 pages, bigger than A4 and in English. It contains articles on the history of Panathinaikos, their new stadium and an interview with their owner. Many will class this as a programme as it is official and produced in Greece by the club for the game however I would personally not rate it as such, but each to their own. Having said that if I did not have one, I would buy one as it is as close as you can get to an official issue.The issue was never for sale and is hard to find.
