Original Sigma Card Garry Birtles Nottingham Forest Usual Grey Backround in Mint Condition

A mint condition and an original Sigma Sports Card Number 5, Garry Birtles of Leeds United which was published in 1979.  The background is the usual grey version, we also have the much rarer gold version in the store.

The cards were explicitly designed to be stuck into The Supporters Football Form Book and Diary, 1979-80 edition, meaning a high percentage of surviving copies suffer from glue damage, paper residue on the reverse, or creasing from being handled and mounted.  They are not easy to pick up in original mint form.

Produced by Sigma Sport Silhouettes in Bridgnorth, Salop and printed by Prescott-Pickup & Co. Ltd., the company vanished after this release, leaving no known warehouse finds or archived distribution records.
